Adoption of the Reconciling Statement for Monticello UMC
As followers of Christ, we are called to love all. As Methodist, we are called to seek justice for all. John Wesley said it himself, “Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can and as long as you can.” Monticello’s Reconciling Ministry group feels this statement reflects who the people are within the walls of Monticello United Methodist Church, and we see this as our way of outwardly stating this to our community.
