  • JCCB Holiday Shop

    Friday, Dec. 9 5:00-8:15 p.m.
    Help stock the shelves and assist low income clients “shop” for Christmas items for the family at the Johnson County Christmas Bureau Holiday Shop.

  • the Mitten Tree

    Please look for the Mitten Tree in Fellowship Hall. Monticello Women will be collecting gloves, mittens, hats and scarves now through Sunday Dec. 12 to be distributed to local missions in need. Thank you for helping to keep others warm this winter!

    Find the Angel Tree for Neighbor2Neighbor in Fellowship Hall. "Adopt" an individual for Christmas.


    Monticello UMC supports Neighbor2Neighbor, an organization that cares for those in need in midtown Kansas City. You can learn more about the nonprofit HERE

  • Shawnee Community Services

    Donate Food Items
    Current Needs:  Non-perishable food items.

    There is a donation drop off box placed outside Monticello's brick building to support Shawnee Community Services. 


    Serve in the SCS Food Pantry
    SCS is located at 11110 W. 67th (67th and Nieman) SCS serves over 400 families each month. The next serve date is 
    December 17 (11 a.m.- 2 p.m.) 

  • The Healing House

    Adopt an individual from the Healing House for Christmas (gifts). Details available in Fellowship Hall.

    We help with trash removal, yard work, snow removal and minor work inside the home.
