ONGOING: Food Collections for Shawnee Community Services
There is a donation drop off box placed outside Monticello's brick building to support Shawnee Community Services.
Immediate Food Needs
-Pork and beans
-Mac and cheese
-Canned fruit
-Side dishes (i.e. Rice a Roni, Knorr noodles, boxed scalloped potatoes)
School Supply Drive
-50 packs colored pencils
-50 spiral notebooks
-40 White glue sticks (not purple)

Serve at a local food pantry
Monticello offers a monthly opportunity to serve at Shawnee Community Services. Shawnee Community Services located at 11110 W. 67th (67th and Nieman) is a local food pantry and free clothing resource. Today, on average, 397 households per month benefit from the pantry boxes. The next serve date is August 20 (11 a.m.- 2 p.m.)
