Worship music at Monticello engages the emotions of the congregation. The Bible resounds with praise and thanks to God through music. God's people gather together to express their praise to Him and build one another up in faith. A rich variety of music that is in harmony with the ministry of God's word is a significant part of worship at Monticello.
Learn to play handbells and chimes. Fellowship! Connect! We play in worship approximately four times per year. No previous handbell experience is required.
Rehearsals are held on Tuesdays 6:30-7:30 p.m. August through May.

This is the main Sunday morning choir. We rehearse Wednesdays 6:30-7:30 p.m. and most every Sunday from Labor Day through Pentecost. Singers of all experience levels (high school and older) are invited to join us for fun, fellowship and music-making!
Don't want to commit to every Sunday? Come sing in the Oratorio Choir! This group prepares the special music for Christmas and Holy Week/Easter. Just like the Chancel Choir, this group welcomes singers of all abilities and ages- high school and older.
We're looking to start a Flute Choir. Do you play the flute? Even if it has been several years, dust off your instrument and come join us. Let Suzanne Hatcher know you are interested and we will find a rehearsal time that suits all members.
Do you play an instrument? We would absolutely love to hear you! If you don't have a repertoire of solos, Suzanne is happy to help you find something and work with you. We can also pair you up for duets or trios, or use you as an accent on a choir anthem if being out there alone is a little too intimidating.
If you love to sing but cannot join one of the choirs, let us know and we will find an opportunity for you to shine! We can even help you select music that best suits you and allows you to share your praise and musical gifts.
